Why you should never ever fully cover your pram like this

When you have a baby, you are constantly thinking about how to keep them safe and out of harm’s way.

When the sun is in full force it is easy to cover the pram to keep your baby out of the sun but please be mindful of the potential dangers…

Fully covering your pram with a blanket or swaddle can reduce air circulation and increase an intense heat inside of the pram running the risk of over heating your baby.

Strategies for keeping your baby cool over the summer:

• Stay indoors during the heat of the day
• Remove the back panels on the pram to promote air flow through the pram and prevent the inside from over heating
• Use an umbrella / parasol add on your pram to keep baby out of direct sun
• Keep away from direct sunlight
